Lightning Storm live: a 39-segment wheel where every second spin opens a bonus round

Lightning Storm is a live game show from Evolution, streamed from a studio dressed as an old electrical laboratory. A host spins a 39-segment wheel: 19 segments pay even money on the spot, and 20 numbered segments lead into one of five bonus rounds with multipliers capped at 10,000x — or 20,000x in the rarest one. The whole game is a choice between those two kinds of bet, and the numbers behind that choice are public.

This site explains the round and the bet maths. We are not the provider or a casino, and we do not run a live results feed.

How does a Lightning Storm live round play out?

Each round takes well under a minute and always follows the same order:

  1. Bets open. You place chips on the Leaf spot, on single numbers from 1 to 20, on All Odd or All Even, or on the two automatic bets, Storm Chaser and X Chaser.
  2. The wheel spins. While it turns, the video wall inside the wheel hands out 20 bonus symbols across the numbered segments: 1 Lightning Storm, 4 Hot Spot, 4 Fireball, 5 Battery Charger and 6 Monster Mash. Some of those segments also get an extra multiplier between 2x and 50x.
  3. The flapper stops. On a Leaf segment, every Leaf bet is paid 1:1 and the round ends.
  4. A bonus round runs. On a numbered segment, the bonus that landed there is played out. Everyone at the table can watch it; only players with a chip on that number collect the multiplier.

Full rules for all five bonus rounds are on the game rules page.

Which bet is better: Leaf or a number?

The Leaf bet covers 19 of the 39 segments and pays even money, so its return is plain arithmetic: 19 ÷ 39 × 2 = 0.9744, or 97.44%. You never see a bonus round with it, but it loses the least over time.

A number bet returns about 95.13%, Storm Chaser 95.12% and X Chaser 95.13% — the provider's published figures. That 2.3-point gap is what you pay for a seat in the bonus rounds, where a single result can reach thousands of times the stake. Both automatic bets add their own cost on top of your base stake; the table shows it before you confirm.

Why do half of the rounds end in a bonus game?

Because 20 of the 39 segments carry a bonus symbol every single spin. The wheel stops on one of them about 51% of the time (20 ÷ 39). A results history that shows "bonus, Leaf, bonus, bonus" is showing that layout, not a lucky streak.

The headline round is rarer than it looks. Only one numbered segment gets the Lightning Storm symbol, so the wheel lands on it in about 1 spin in 39 — roughly 2.6% — and it pays you only if your chip is on that number. The 20,000x cap is the ceiling of that round, not a typical result. What a history can and cannot tell you is on Lightning Storm results.

Where can you play Lightning Storm live in India?

Lightning Storm runs inside the live casino lobby of online casinos that carry Evolution's tables — there is no standalone Lightning Storm app or site, whatever an APK page says (more on that). On a phone, the stream plays in the browser or in the casino's own app.

Our play button leads to a casino whose live lobby includes Lightning Storm; new players there get a 500% first-deposit pack. Before you count on that pack, read how its wagering treats a live game like this one. Over-18s only, and only with money already set aside for fun.
